The project has been carried out since May this year and involves the digitization and the popular scientific analysis of over 2,500 prints featuring the images of saints.
The impressive collection of prints presenting religious themes contains over 5,000 objects. Therefore the project only begins the digitization process of this interesting resource. Providing online access to the images of saints and illustrations presenting religious festivals in numerous churches and rites constitutes part of the educational mission of the museum.
The project made it possible to equip out Photography Studio with lighting tools, reproduction workstation and Phase One camera with 80 MP digital back. Another purchase involved a high-end graphics workstation with a monitor.
